Some journeys begin with a choice. Others begin with fate.
But what about a journey with old friends—one that begins with fate?
The northern lands are vast and untamed—snow-capped mountains stretching toward the heavens, endless forests whispering in the wind, and deep, misty lakes reflecting the skies like portals to another world. It is a place of beauty, history, and lingering secrets.
When a weary traveler returns home after a long journey through the northern lands, all he seeks is warmth, a familiar face, and a moment of peace. A quiet evening by the fire, perhaps a well-earned ale in his hand. But fate—and an old friend with a terrible idea—have other plans.
At the familiar inn, he reunites with two old companions: one a Wizard whose paranoia is almost as legendary as his wisdom, the other a sharp-eyed hunter with more scars than stories he’s willing to share.
They laugh, they drink, they reminisce… and then comes the question:
How about one last adventure? One final moment of freedom before the world turns even darker?
